Winter tire are mandatory for commercial vehicles.
It is not mandatory for private vehicles but the Property Section strongly recommend to change to winter tires due the hills and geography of Ankara.

Without winter tires it is not safe to travel with your vehicle if the weather is below “zero” and/or snowy.
A colleague kindly provided a picture of his own accident! The white car in the middle was his 2 month old car…
